5 Natural Face Masks for Glowing Skin

1) Sandalwood mask –

Ingredients :

– Sandalwood

– Water

Preparation :

Mix sandalwood powder with water and make fine paste. Apply it on your face and leave it until the powder dries out. Wash it after.

Result :

You will get a lightened skin. This mask is best for people with oily skin.

2) Honey-Tomato mask –

Ingredients :

– 2 tsps honey

–  1 tomato (mashed)

– 1 tsp lemon juice

Preparation :

Mix honey and tomato and then add lemon juice to it. Blend all the three ingredients well in a blender. Apply this paste on your face and keep it for 15-20 mins.

Result :

Honey gives an instant glow to the face. The acidic properties of lemon and tomato will lighten your skin and also gives radiance.

3) Potato mask –

– 1 Potato (smashed)

– 1/2 tsp Curd

Preparation :

Make a paste of the smashed potato and add 1/2 spoon curd to it. Keep this paste on your face for 10 mins and then wash it off with cold water.

Potatoes are known to make the skin clear, reduce pigmentation and remove skin tan. It is also the source of vitamin C which is an essential for skin. Curd acts as a natural bleaching agent. So this masks removes the dullness from the skin and adds an attractive glow.

4) Almond mask –

– Almonds (4-5)

– Milk

Preparation :

Soak the almonds in the milk in morning. After 12 hours, mash these almonds in the milk and form a fine paste. Apply it on your face before going to the bed and leave it overnight. Wash it next morning

You will have lighter as well a glowing skin. Girls with dry skin can use it everyday and those with oily skin can use it twice a week.

5) Rice-Milk mask –

– 2 tbsp Rice (soaked and grinded in milk)

– 2 tbsp Milk

Soak the rice in the milk for over 2 hours. Make a granular paste. Apply this paste everyday.
