She’s been the centre of jokes and criticism all week round, and well, did she deserve it? Not one bit. But this lady kept all poise and well, with how it turns out, it is Virat who is the lucky man. She dresses to kill, and every time she changes her avatar, he is sure to feel like he is dating an all new woman. So Anushka Sharma it is, in her ten best looks
1. Jazz Singer in Bombay Velvet
Anushka Sharma as a Jazz singer in ‘Bombay Velvet’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor is a new role that we’ll be seeing her in. The movie is an adaption of Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’. Set in Bombay of the 1960s, the film tells the story of a boxer, Johnny Balraj, and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie, and how their hopes and dreams collide with their individual realities. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles with Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Raveena Tandon and Siddharth Basu appearing in supporting roles. Anushka’s role seems like a very dark yet intriguing role. Something really worth waiting for!
2. The Bikini Girl
Well, she definitely knows how to master the art of flaunting a bikini. She’s one hotty who can make all eyes turn in her direction.
Anushka went through a complete makeover for her role in Rajkumar Hirani’s film Peekay with Aamir Khan, and she sure did surprise everyone with her cropped off hair(quite a pleasant surprise, that is). I personally found her haircut hep! It seems to suit her given that very few women can actually carry off short hair well.
4. Cricket Connection
Now, they are couple goals for life. Enough said!
5. Flawless Skin- Nivea Advertisement
For some reason this ad is one of the best that I’ve seen Anushka in. The way her skin seems flawless and her confidence in the ad never ceases to attract the viewers. Right from the casual outfits to the off shoulder gown that Anushka flaunts in the ad, she sure did fit the role right.
The most amazing and in some cases an unfortunate fact about being an actor is that you’re known by the roles you’ve played in your past films. Well, here its the former case. Anushka’s film NH10 directed by Navdeep Singh put great insight into the plight of women in a male dominated society. The story is about a young couple that embarks on a road trip and is attacked by a bunch of criminals on their way. Here, i would like to particularly talk about her look in the party scene, though that scene doesn’t have much significance in the movie. Hair tied to the back and a black blazer is all that she needs to mesmerize her audience. Not to forget her role in the movie, she seemed to have done justice to it. Keep up the good work Anushka!
7. Cover Girl- One Of India’s Most Beautiful Women
And once again this beauty charmed us when she featured on the cover of Femina India for the February 2013 edition. In this special issue Femina brings India’s most beautiful women, featuring the 10 most beautiful women of India.
8. Those Pretty Fringes
Another one of those stylish hairstyle experiments that she’s ever done, those fringes definitely made a few men (and boys) skip a few heartbeats.
9. Red Carpet Events
Well, red carpet events are always one of the most talked about and discussed topics of all times, almost like a classic! And why shouldn’t they be when we have stunningly beautiful celebs like Anushka Sharma donning unique and breathtaking outfits on various red carpet events. Be it a short black blazer and black pencil trousers or a beautiful pink and black saree by Manish Malhotra or a white off shoulder gown with silver embellishments, she looks good in almost anything and everything!
10. Anushka Sharma In A Ridhi Mehra Outfit
The crop top vision seems to have gotten very popular among our Bollywood actresses. In such a case how can one expect one of the most talented upcoming talented actresses to lag behind? Seen at one of NH10’s movie promos Anushka looked stunning in a Ridhi Mehra outifit which consisted of a black and white crop top paired with lavender-blue shaded palazzo pants. The white floral prints made of an embellished fabric on the back base crop top made it look very appealing to the eye. Also, those palazzos from Koovs added an element of grace to the ensemble.
