Essentials For A Flawless Skin

Hello girls! We have come up with a simple daily skin care regimen for you all. We know when it comes to skin care, facial skin tops the list. Firstly, because this skin is delicate and highly prone to foreign elements that could cause infections and allergies. Secondly, it is highly-sensitive and extensive exposure to the different climatic conditions can cause acne, pimples and breakouts!

Since our ‘Face’ is a projector of our personality, it should look clear, confident and camera -ready all the time. Like the spotless faces you see on the magazine covers? Or on your television screens posing with beauty creams? And you totally fall in love with their radiant skin and wish if you could ever get that!

Then let me tell you, YOU CAN get that kind of skin! But how? Is there any beauty treatment? Any secret behind her oh-so-glowing skin? YES !! There is. It is only that she’s nailed the best daily skin care routine. Another secret? So can you!! 😀

1. Go for a denser cleanser :

moisture 1

Cleansing tops the list of skin care. Opt for the one that is creamier and perfectly suits your skin-type. For oily skin, use a wash that could eliminate excess oil off the skin. For skin that’s dry, use a moisturizing or milky cleanser that nourishes the skin by hydrating it.

2. Use a facial toner :

Toning is the next step in the beauty treatment. It acts as a secret weapon to a healthy skin. Avoid alcohol-based toners and opt the ones that work out lather to remove oil and traces of dirt and grime. Toner is helpful for those with oily or acne-prone skin, or for those who want extra cleansing after wearing make-up or other heavy skin products such as sun-screen, foundation etc.

3. Moisturize every day and night :

Moisturize your skin by adding some good amount of serum into it. Research says that the best times to moisturize are right after the shower, when the skin quickly absorbs it and right before going to bed when the skin gets a whole night to retain its suppleness. It also adds another layer of hydration while you sleep. Make sure to use moisturizers that are gentle on skin with zero irritation.

4. Exfoliate twice a week :

Exfoliate your skin twice a week. This helps in removing the dead skin cells. We lose around 50 million skin cells per day so to promote the growth of new cells, exfoliation is a must. Do it as per the climate. When it’s hot outside, scrub more to remove sweat, dirt and greasy sunscreen.  For day-to-day, stick to light scrubbing.
Scrubbing tends to let loose the moisture, therefore choose a product that is pH neutral, so it doesn’t dry as it exfoliates. This goes with the entire body.

5. Sunscreen is a must :

sun 2

Wear sunscreen 365 days a year. People identify sunscreens only with sunny days without knowing that they’re affecting the skin whenever they’re stepping out. A sunscreen acts as a guard against the daily UV exposure that contributes to the visible signs of aging and tan. Broad-spectrum sunscreens with a SPF- 30 or more is effective.
Avoid direct sun exposure and add sunglasses, broad-brimmed hats along with the SPF make-up to ensure complete protection.

6. Hydrate in every way possible :

Lack of water means less radiance and more sag. Water eliminates the toxins and wastes. Drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses of water everyday hydrates the body and removes excess oil and dirt. Other fluids like juices also work excellent for skin care. Proper hydration rids skin from dryness, dullness and wrinkles. It also helps to maintain a healthy glowing skin, which is every girl’s desire.

7. Have nutritious diet :

fiber 2

Everything healthy starts from your diet. Whatever you put inside shows results outside. Any sort of skin disorder results out of unhealthy eating habits. Therefore, fiber-rich diet like wheat, corn, rice-bran, oats, barley, lentils, broccoli should be included in diets. The dietary fiber helps to lose weight and improves health. For effective results, crop out the junk out of your meals and you’re a step ahead in skin care.

8. Sleep well with make-up off :

Getting 8 hours of sleep everyday is a must. Enough of good sleep does wonders to your skin care. Make sure you remove make-up before hitting the bed. Make-ups are often loaded with harsh chemicals that not only harm the skin but works as an abode for bacteria and yeast. Yes! Moreover, it also catches dirt that clogs pores, causing pimple and acne.

9. Leave stress behind :

stress 1

Stressful life tends to disrupt the well-being of a person. The only way to fight stress is getting enough sleep (stress-free). For a healthy lifestyle and flawless skin, the mind should be free from tensions and worries. The reason is, stress hormones lead to excessive oil production resulting in whiteheads. Therefore, it is best to let yourself go easy. This would work miracle for your skin care.
And finally spend some ‘me-time’ with yourself everyday. Believe me, you’ll love it and the world will love you too 😀
