Hello everyone! So, people who have read my last article about gender equality dressing (girls as boys) would have an idea about this article. This is gonna be the funniest article for boys but worth thinking about and also something which girls want to make you understand!
So, before starting with my article, I would again like to begin with saying that, it’s not just that girls are equal to boys, it’s also about boys being equal to girls. It’s a two way process; both sides have to cover by stepping towards each other.
Starting with talking about the high fashion brands, they are actually the ones who have started with gender equality dressing for men or androgynous dressing. It’s not something to be embarrassed about. Many people outside India actually wear such garments and have great personalities. They are people who are moving ahead with their mentality and yes, an evolving personality.
So, now finally starting with the styling tips:
The very first is the very thing most of the boys hate to wear : PINK!
Guys, stop fearing from pink. Baby pink is meant for men. Baby pink shirts is THE THING for men out there!
Moving on to the next tip, this tip is for all the boys who say,”I don’t like dressing in a way that is inspired by girls’ fashion”. It is a scarf! A scarf over anything, a shirt, a t-shirt or a kurta! It goes well with everything and every guy would love to wrap one around his neck!
The next one is turkish pants. Many people might not know about them. They are those loose pants with low crotch levels. These pants look awesome when styled well or otherwise, are even the best thing to try for gymming!
Next, we move on to culottes for men! They are perfect for a cool summer look. Also people who are not comfortable wearing shorts, culottes are made for them!
And the last styling tip, the floral prints! They are everywhere, and many Indian men have a tendency of rejecting them. Why?! Floral prints are not just for girls! They can look awesome on men, it’s all about styling well! Here’s Gucci with a floral collection for men!
So, now finally ending this very small series of articles on gender neutral dressing, I would like to conclude by saying that there isn’t any difference between a girl or a boy. None of them are dominant or recessive. Both are companions for each other. So, I hope brothers and sisters will be more than happy exchanging their clothes and wearing them and yes, the girls will be wearing their guy’s white shirt! The all time favourite!
