As the quintessential Cannes film festival has officially kick-started for the 68 th time and is in full swing , more fashion gossips arise. Julianne Moore

Auburn-haired beauty Julianne Moore stunned us with her slicked-  back look in a grey-black Giorgio Armani Prive , gauze gown adorned with aqua and black Swarovski embroidery and a feathered top , exuding a dark , glamorous charm.

Bollywood queen Katrina Kaif

Bollywood queen Katrina Kaif just made us go wow in her body hugging , full -sleeved , fit-and-flare red Elie Saab gown. After Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai’s super stylish appearance and now this, we kind of understand why these ladies are the Indian  L’oreal Paris ambassadors.

Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong’o looked one-of-a-kind (as she always does) in her pleated, jade chiffon Gucci gown with flowy sleeeves , floral embellishments and a jaw-dropping neckline. She completed her lovely look with a ballerina bun and fuschia lips.

Naomi Watts

Naomi Watts brought the feathered look (just like, Ms Moore) to the red carpet looking breathtaking in a powder-  blue Elie Saab gown with a flowing , feathered skirt and a pearl and sequins- accented top.

Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron added “pop” to the red carpet with her canary-yellow,strapless Dior gown with a silky train , paired with diamond- clustered Choppard earrings and a minimal make-up look.

Fan Bingbing

This beautiful Chinese actress has always been a fashion risk- taker and have never failed. This time too, Fan Bingbing made us wistfully sigh in her dusty-gray, tulle Marchesa gown with billowy sleeves and multi-coloured floral appliques, matched with a floral headpiece . Such artwork!

 Doutzen Kroes

The Brazilian Victoria’s Secret model, Doutzen Kroes  stepped out in a sleek-white, Altier Versace gown with thigh-high slits and a daring cut-out panel across the bodice, completing the look with a low chignon.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman went all red and polished in a retro, strapless, red Dior gown paired with De Grisogono earrings and a sleeked- wavy hairstyle with smokey-eyes.

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek epitomises the latin-beauty with her frilly , flamenco-esque, strapless Alexander McQueen dress with gold over a black palette looking breathtaking. She paired the silhouette simply with a snaky arm strap.

Even though we know Michelle’s a tom-boy but we also know that she can do red carpet too. She stepped on the carpet in a beautiful Zuhair Muradn, floor-length ,semi-sheer black gown with leaf-shaped cut-out, shimmery designs.

Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz went all wispy white in her Valentino couture,semi-sheer and flowy gown with an Afro-braided , untamed hair looking daring but lovely.

Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr will never let us down. She graced the festival with her glamorous look in a rosy pink flowy, Emanuel Ungaro gown with plunging neckline and a daring thigh-high slit , looking pinky perfect.

Did anybody just see the all-pink and thought  Victoria’s Secret? Well , I did.

Sonam Kapoor

Although she didn’t make an appearance during the first two days , we couldn’t help but include her in this list. Sonam Kapoor looked absolutely gorgeous in this bright- blue,  Ralph and Russo couture dress with a train, that is so Old Hollywood. A competition to Charlize Theron’s pop yellow, definitely.

So,what do you think ? Who looked the best?
