Usually people just ignore the chocolate section in the grocery store, knowing they may just get tempted and end up ruining their lives but worry not! I have found some seriously legitimate reasons to indulge in chocolates and therefore disband all the chocoholic anonymous for good (insert evil laugh).
CHOCOLATES HELP YOU REDUCE WEIGHT!!
Yup. You read it right. Cocoa in the chocolate helps you in reducing weight. Once you snack on a piece of chocolate, your tummy sends the message that it is full and satisfied to your brain and you stop eating. So the next time you are up in the middle of the night, don’t move towards the chips ( they are evil), instead welcome your new bff, the dark chocolate!
With everything. It’s like a mine of minerals. A piece of dark chocolate contains iron, magnesium, copper, potassium and even antioxidants ( which are amazing for your skin)!
SAVES YOU FROM HEART ATTACKS AND MORE!
Cocoa in the chocolate helps improve the blood flow to the arteries, thus decreasing the risk of heart attacks. It also helps in lowering your blood pressure and improves your eye sight. Chocolate is magical.
MAKES YOU MORE INTELLIGENT
If taking care of your heath wasn’t enough, chocolate also helps in making you more intelligent. Because cocoa helps in improving you blood circulation, more blood thus reaches your brain thereby making you more intelligent! That is an excellent reason to munch on chocolates during exams 😀 And wait for it. Because of the improved blood circulation to the brain, your hair in turn also becomes more glossy!!
IT’S THERE FOR YOU
Be it heartbreak, or stress, chocolate is always there for you and helps you overcome your sadness. It also helps in reducing stress which in turn automatically helps your skin look great! It also helps you combat the harsh rays of the sun ( not a reason to give a miss to your old pal the sunblock though )and basically gives you smooth skin!
Chocolates are a gift to humanity from God. There is no denying that fact. This article was a result of my anguish over being kicked out of the 17th chocoholics anonymous committee — I may have defended chocolate a little too passionately which resulted in havoc and people giving in to the dark side. But who cares? We have chocolate AND Draco Malfoy 😀
